Do you agree with the death penalty? Is it ever right to kill? And under what circumstances? Is it worth the risks of being wrong?
For an interesting and surprising history ready Wikipedia’s entry on Capital Punishment (Only 58 nations actively practice it anymore).
I am against the notion – it’s just too damn risky. Half the time, those who need it do not have access to due process of law – and the other half of the time it is a fallible system. Once you execute a body, there is no taking it back. & furthermore, killing one more never brings the first one back.
I just believe in good ol’ karma…
